You may have noticed that we have announced a number of small improvements over the past few weeks. We’ve been working on something BIG in the background… but more about that in a bit.

This week we made made the Channel ID easier to find and copy. When viewing the installation instruction for the widget and the announcement page, you will now find the Channel ID at the top.

Simply click the copy button to copy the ID to your clipboard.

Why does it matter? We are partnering with more vendors who are integrating Released into their solutions. Scroll Viewport was our first integration, allowing you to embed release notes created with Released seamlessly into your knowledge base. With Aura and Karma you easily embed release notes into your Confluence pages, and another integration is coming very soon.

All these integrations require the Channel ID to identify the right release notes. That’s why we put it front and center and removed all the guess work.

So what have we been working on? We’ve been working on one of the most popular requests since day one. Templates. There is a bit more work to be done, but we are hoping to get it into your hands before Christmas.
