Stop sifting through Jira projects, Confluence pages, and PowerPoint presentations to find last quarter’s roadmap. Forget about that third-party roadmap tool you rarely used and that never synced well with Jira.

Released allows you to choose which AI input field to use for generating release notes. But what if you want to include information from multiple fields? That’s where Jira automation comes in.

Our main feature this release is subtle, but powerful. You can now link directly to open issues within the embedded roadmap, making it a breeze to share a specific roadmap item with your stakeholders. Clicking a roadmap card will now append the issue ID to the URL, and you can copy it directly from the browser’s location bar. We’ve also updated the embedded Page URLs to better differentiate between different kinds of content, but don’t worry! Any existing links you’ve shared will transparently be rewritten to the new format and continue working just fine.

Hey, all! Long time, no see, it’s been a whole week. How ya been? Good, good, that’s really good… *awkward pause* Listen, uh, we, uh, *shuffles feet* have something we need to tell you. You remember how we renamed Spaces to Portals? How we decided that, because users were confused by the relationship between Spaces and Portals, we’d call both of them Portals? Well, unfortunately, that didn’t work out. People became confused about access control settings and which areas of the app would be affected by changing them. Did they apply your drafts in Jira, or your published posts in the wild? Both? By combining Spaces and Portals under the same term, it became impossible to know the difference.

This update brings enhanced flexibility with expanded access to product hub settings for all Jira users. Plus, enjoy a seamless experience with real-time color updates on the portal preview. We've also included some minor tweaks for a smoother workflow. Dive in and explore what's new!

View your email subscriber list directly within the app. This feature allows you to quickly access and review subscriber details, making it easy to tell who’s following your updates.

You can now enhance data presentation with our new table feature in the editor. Plus, enjoy a fresh, customizable look for your user portal with our second theme option.

We've added CSS Color-Scheme support, allowing embeds to seamlessly switch between dark and light modes based on your website's settings. The embeds now detect the page's CSS color-scheme settings, and will fallback to system settings when unspecified.

The latest update brings a more efficient version ordering for the version filter.

Today we are launching the private beta of the Released Product Hub.

In the next few days, we’re adding a new service to Released that will start collecting events from the embeds. This is the first step toward building an analytics feature that will provide insights into how many users are reading your posts.

You can now customize important details like your brand’s logo and the sender name, making sure every email feels distinctly yours. This helps reinforce your brand and ensures your customers recognize your messages at first glance.

Flagged tickets are now easier to spot! Instead of just a label that says “Impediment,” we've added a bright red flag icon and a yellow background to catch your eye. It's an instant heads-up that something needs your attention. No more squinting at text labels.

Please be advised that we will be conducting scheduled maintenance this Sunday, September 1st. During this period, the publishing of roadmaps will be temporarily unavailable.

Users can now access roadmaps directly through the Embed Widget, eliminating the need to navigate to an external website or documentation page. You’ll find a new Roadmap section within the widget, allowing seamless switching between the Changelog and Roadmap.
